Hi Experts,

I was wondering if anyone has a piece of code that they would like to share or can point me to a forum or site that they have come across.

I found codes to list file names in a folder but not one that does what i need!

Basically I have an excel file in colum A with 9000 rows of potential file names that i need to search in a folder and as part of the output against the adjastcent columns i need to create a link to the file or files in the relevent folder as there might be more than 1 file with that file name.

Issue i have is the file name might not be unique in the naming convention and may be part of the a long text string name for example:

if in my excel doc i had DUN1234 the file name name could be DUN1234_cat or DUN1234CAT or DUN1234.DOG

Any help appreciated.
