Combine Subtotal and Counif formulas

Hello everyone,

I want to combine to formulas:


The first:
=COUNTIF(G8:G110,"2")+COUNTIF(G8:G110,"1")


The second:
=SUBTOTAL(9,G8:G110)


Is it possible?

What do you want the combined formula to do ?

Can you not use SUMIF ?

With your 1st formula in cell A1 and your 2nd in cell B1, in C1 you could enter:

="The Item  Count is " & A1 & " and the Subtotal is " & B1

I'm not an excel proffesional, and don't know how to use your suggestion.

=SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(G8:G12,{1,2}))

[FONT=&quot]It doesn't count values "2" as 1.[/FONT]
