    Default Create Email using Excel using HYPERLINK: copy and paste

    Hello All,

    I currently use Lotus Notes.

    Currently, the below formula opens an email, and inserts correctly the TO: and the CC part.

    =HYPERLINK("mailto:"&JANE&"?cc=Joe@ABC.com&subject=Interest Rates "&TEXT(Today_TradeDate,"mm.dd.yyyy")&"&body=B117:F128","SEND")

    In addition to that, I have data that I need to COpy and Paste, Cell A1:B5 into the body of the email, but it does not insert.....
    The B117:F128 is where I have the data I want to copy and paste....

    The above does not work
    Can someone assist pls!
    Thank you

    It would have to be something like this:
    Code:
    =HYPERLINK("mailto:"&D16&"?cc=Joe@ABC.com&subject=Interest Rates "&TEXT(D17,"mm.dd.yyyy")&"&body="&B117,"SEND")
    The B117 needed to be outside the quotes and it can only do a single cell, not a range of cells. I also changed some of your named ranges to cell references for testing. Any fancier than that and I think you'll need mailmerge or VBA.

    Thank you PathFinder.

    By any chance, would you be able to guide me with a quick vba code?

    The range B117:F128, this is data that I insert into the email, and becomes a picture automatically...

    Is there a way to automate this?
    Thanks very much for your help'

    Here is an example, but I have no idea what might need changed for Lotus Notes. This requires loading of the Microsoft Outlook Object Library to work.
    Code:
    Sub EmailButton()
        Dim OutApp As Object
        Dim OutMail As Object

        Set OutApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
        Set OutMail = OutApp.CreateItem(olMailItem)

        With OutMail
            .To = Range("A1").Value
            .CC = "Joe@ABC.com"
            .Subject = "Interest Rates " & Format(Range("B2").Value, "mm.dd.yyyy")
            .body = Range("B117")
            .display 'Show the email
        End With

        Set OutMail = Nothing
        Set OutApp = Nothing
    End Sub
