A1:A5 = No. of Veh., Speed, Circuit in Miles, Interval (min or sec), M/P Hour. The variables in B1:B5.

So a typical "what-if" would be something like the Interval must be 1 minute, the Circuit Miles is 120... what would be the other values to meet the 1 min/120 miles set requirements.

Other "what-ifs" would be I only have 30 vehicles to use so would I have to change the Interval or increase the speed or shorten the Circuit etc.

Where the Interval is the time a vehicle passes an X point in the Circuit until the next vehicle passes it.

Is this too many variable to work with in a solver type situation?

Thanks for taking a look.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
you might need to workout with speed=Distance/Time
How much Distance Vehicle Traveled from origin to destination.you can set timer between origin to destination. you know this two variables to get speed
