Hi there, I am looking to use an index match to select the resulting cell. I have two small timelines (periods 1-4) called "inputs.timeline" and "database.timeline" and two rows underneath named "database" and "inputs". I am looking to INDEX(database,,MATCHI(inputs.timeline,database.timeline,0)) and select the resulting cell. The broader goal is to copy values from the "inputs", index/match the correct "inputs.timeline" period within the "database.timeline" and paste values into the "database".

As you can see below, I'd like to select the first "x" in the database row using an index/match in VBA prior to copying and pasting the input into the database.
Looking forward to the reponses!

database.timeline
1234
databasexxxx
inputs.timeline1234
inputsxxxx
