VBA for Scanning

I have been creating a spreadsheet with Hyperlinks that link to a pdf of a scanned copy of drawings for different work orders.

When a job is completed I scan the files, place them in a general folder and give it a file name which equals the WO#. I'm wondering if there is a way to create a button that would scan the file from the scanner, save as the work order number and then create a hyperlink that would link to the saved pdf.
