Decimal Places

This may be a silly question but if I have data that comes out of a data base in say this format..... 37.6379 and I want it to only show 37.6 (other than using the buttons in the ribbon to only show 1 decimal place) is there a formula that makes the number only be 37.6?

You could use the 'round' function and specify how many digits to use.

Round is a better option but you could also use the 'trunc' function as well. This wouldn't round your results though.
