Good afternoon Excel gods
I have an issue with an excel spreadsheet...which I did not create.
There are 5 check boxes [on the joining tab]. When a check box is selected it increases/decreases the columns that are in a table by 1 based on the number of crew that are currently onboard the vessel.
The functionality of this has all of a sudden stopped working. I believe these checkboxes are linked up to vba code.
We have a duplicate of the workbook where the checkboxes work fine.
Below are two links to the two spread sheets, I've removed any sensitive data;

This is the one which doesn't work https://www.dropbox.com/s/lln1okzn9rm302i/Articles- not working - Copy.xlsm?dl=0
This is the one that does work https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ypwpltijsw4mbp/Articles - working.xlsm?dl=0

You're probably going to ask why I cant just copy the text across to the working spreadsheet. I can but I would just like to know why it has stopped working so I can fix the issue if it ever happens again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Brgds
Matt

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
The checkboxes on the Not working sheet are pictures rather than checkboxes

Many thanks for the reply.
Any ideas how this could have all of a sudden happened? No one has changed anything within the worksheet in terms of functionality. Strange that they just suddenly stopped working
cheers

Has anyone opened the workbook in xl2003 or earlier?

Apologies for late reply, no, workbook is used in Excel 2013. We upgraded all our office suite applications a while back.

Anyone running on a Mac?

No it's literally windows based OS on all machines running windows 10 Pro.
I've resolved it by just recreating some new checkboxes and seems to be working as it should now
