Formula being replaced by fixed value

Hi all

I've got a fairly complex workbook that contains a lot of macros and a userform.

On the front sheet, there are various cells with formulas in them.
One cell in particular keeps having it's formula overwritten by the fixed value and I can't see why.
There also seems to be no pattern to when it happens (I've tried trapping the change to see if I can see what I've just done but that's not helping).

I've checked all my macro code and that cell isn't mentioned anywhere so I don't thin it's anything to do with the userform but I'm not ruling that out completely).
Bizarrely, it can also happen when I change a validated cell (this one contains times) but there's no code attached to that sheet.

Before I throw the whole thing out and start again, can anyone suggest what I can do to try and track this down please?

One small point that may be a red-herring......
The userform did (before I changed it) write directly to the cell in question.
I've made sure that it's all been updated to the new cell but I'm not sure if it's got a bit scrambled somewhere........

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Maybe you could save a copy as a non-macro-enabled workbook, close and open the file again, and see if you can trigger the change. If it still happens, you can eliminate macros as the cause.

If it only happens in a macro-enabled workbook, you may want to scrub through the macros again (in forms as well as modules) to see if there is an event-triggered macro....
