Hi guys,

Newbie here, I just want you to help me. Here is the situation, If I was hired last year March 6, 2017, they have given me 5days of leave (SL/VL) per year. How many days I've earned for last year that I can use this year? I just want to compute my leave earn daily by putting a formula than will apply as well for my co employee, but I don't know how.

Please help guys.
Thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Assuming your hire date is in Cell A2. Try this,

=DATEDIF(A2,TODAY(),"m")*5/12
