Hi

I'm using a spreadsheet that shows our this weekly sales vs this week last year, day by day for the week. Its a basic sheet but with many different sites it has a lot of information in it

  • At the beginning of the week we enter every days sales for last year and a simple calculation adds up the total for the whole week eg £10k per day so £70k for the whole week
  • As the week progresses we enter this years sales in, day by day. Again, a simple calculation adds this up

What I need is for the last years sales to only calculate up to what day, this year, has data in it. So for example if it is Wednesday, I only want Mon, Tue and Weds last years total figure to calculate,
(£30k),
ignoring the rest of the week (£40k) because there are no figures in this years cells. Can this be done relatively easily?

Many thanks in advance
