Better/More Elegant Formula question

Hi there,

I've got a formula: SUM(A1*B1, A2*B2, A3*B3, A4*B4, etc..).

Is there a more elegant (or better practice) way of writing it or is this the best approach?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
That's great Marcelo, thank you. I'd tried SUMPRODUCT but I'd used it incorrectly and thought it wasn't the correct approach.

Your guidance is appreciated.
