Hello,
I know how to loop and copy and paste data from one worksheet/workbook to another using VBS, but I need to copy cell content from an Excel workbook and paste into BlueZone (Mainframe Host Screen) using VBS. Does anyone know how to do this?
For example, I have a worksheet that has 2 rows of data (model and serial number). I will use the same worksheet each time I do this and will have varying numbers of rows (one day may be 100 rows, the next may be 1000, and the next may be 10000). I need to loop through the data and copy cell A1 to a specific location in BZ, then copy cell B1 to another specific location in BZ and continue the loop until all data is complete. After every 8th individual copy and paste, I need to sent the F8 key to BZ to go to the next screen (BZ .sendkey function).
My guess is that I will have to invoke the script in the BZ environment so I would also need to tell it to use the active workbook and sheet.
I know this is more advanced and incorporating another program, but is this something anyone here can help me figure out?
Thanks,
Kratos
