Windows Excel Compatability

Hello Friends,

I have to get some office systems ready for Excel therefore, i need to know the compatibility of all the windows version with Excel versions.

May i request your kind support here to update the table below, pl also suggest in case i have missed any of windows version between 98 and 2016.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
early o/s will not be aware of the advances in capability, earlier than XP will really struggle (IMHO) and thats not supported or even virus updated. excel changed between 2003 and 2007 versions. The exact details would be found with MS, as there will be many issues

far more authorative information on the web, I couldn't do the changes justice. You should be using windows 7/8 onwards with at least office 2007 to be stable, and that depends on the hardware you are running
