Is there any way in a file I can set up for a reminder to be flagged up when someone closes a file, so it reminds them to have done something?

I have never used Visual Basic so I have no idea how to use it, so I am looking for another way of doing this that is not VB?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
if you use the auto_close macro, everytime the workbook is closed it will do this procedurce weither it is to save the file, always return to a specfic cell, etc.

You can also have it pop up a message box to alert the user as you said....

try using the msgbox command.
