I have a spreadsheet with several cells with more than one line of text in it. What can I do to split each line of text into seperate rows?

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Select the cell in question.
Go to the formula bar and copy the contents (Do not just copy the cell).
Select the cell where you want to paste and paste.

Thanks it worked, but how can i write a macro that will do the same to all the cells in a column and create another column with all the cells split out.

Have you tried selecting the entire column and then click on Data / Text to columns / Delimited and then only check the space box?

One question, are the unsplit cells only two lines long? What I mean is does the cell only have to be split into two columns or can it be split into more?

If they only have to be split into two columns try the following code:

First select the cells (in one column) that you want to split and then run the code.

Code is very customizable, so post with comments.
