Hi

I have a starting time and finishing using tables in 24 hours format

I use the formula as =Finishing times - starting times
It works for the following times
17:45:00 - 16:20:00
16:20:00 - 11:20:00
21:10:00 - 13:05:00

but it does not work for the following
05:10:00 - 22:15:00
12:55:00 - 19:50:00
00:40:00 - 18:20:00

It looks like it does not work when the finishing time is less than the starting time in values

How do i make this work for all the above?

Thanks

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
The easiest way would be to put the actual dates in the cells and just have it formatted as hh:mm:ss. That way your ending time will actually be greater than your starting time and you shouldn't have this problem anymore.
