I have a spreadsheet that is 1.3MB big. Not a large spreadsheet in my mind?! there are alot of formulas throughout though, it was fine yesterday but today it is showing up a excel has ran out of resources error...does anyone know how to work around this/fix it/get fir of it?!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
It's not that big. I don't think it's an Excel problem, but rather your computer. Perhaps you have many applications open simultaneously? Perhaps you don't have much RAM on your machine? It may sound cliche, but I'd save your work, shut everything down - try a good ole reboot, and see if the problem persists. Another option may be to copy your data to a new workbook and see if the problem goes away as well.

Care to post the SUMPRODUCT formula you implemented from your last thread? Asking for it in view of efficiency?

I have since deleted it, and it solved the problem. I was trying to pull quite a bit of data from a separate workbook and i dont think my ****ty computer can handle it!!
