To All:

On a report I send to a vendor to update ship dates. Is there a way when the new date is entered either the font color (and bold) can change. Or have background fill when it happens?
3/7/2018 if a new date is applied change 3/18/18
3/12/2018
3/13/2018
3/15/2018
3/15/2018
3/16/2018
3/16/2018
3/17/2018
3/17/2018
3/17/2018
3/18/2018
3/18/2018
3/19/2018

Thanks

Kevin

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Where on your sheet are these dates.
Column A or column B or what.
And are you saying any time the value in column A changes to mark this cell as bold and red?

If the answers to my question are yes try this:
This is an auto sheet event script
Your Workbook must be Macro enabled
To install this code:
Right-click on the sheet tab
Select View Code from the pop-up context menu
Paste the code in the VBA edit window

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
'Modified 3-19-18 9:25 PM EDT
If Target.Cells.Count > 1 Or IsEmpty(Target) Then Exit Sub
If Target.Column = 7 Or Target.Column = 8 Or Target.Column = 9 Or Target.Column = 11 Or Target.Column = 12 Then
Target.Font.Bold = True
'Target.Interior.Color = vbRed 'Not active now Remove ' if you wnat this
Target.Font.Color = vbRed
End If
End Sub
