A coworker of mine made some changes to a workbook and saved those changes. She is now trying to recover the initial workbook (before she made the new changes and saved it). Can someone assist me with how to recover the old file.

Thanks

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Welcome to the Board!

Hopefully, you have a backup of it out there. Otherwise, you are probably out of luck!

If the new information was saved with the same filename in the same location I don't think there is any way to recover the old information. The only possible option I can think of would be if the file has not been closed a series of "undo" commands could be used, but that might not get all the old information back only a portion, and that would only work if the file has not been closed after it was saved.
