I need help with writing a formula that includes a recurring monthly charge, a daily late charge (with grace period), payments made on various dates, and the balance on the payment date. One may use any recurring monthly charge amount, any daily late charge amount, any constant number of grace period days, and any assortment of payment dates, that they desire. Your assistance will be greatly apprecitated.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
What is the recurring monthly charge or what cell will it be stored in?

How much is the daily late charge after the grace period or what cell is that stored in?

How many days until a late charged is incurred (including grace period) or what cell is this amount stored in?

How much are the various payments or what cell(s) are they stored in?

What is the payment date or what cell is it stored in?

We cannot guess what you are trying to do and the variables you're using. The more information you provide, the better we can respond.

I often believe it is best to give us the exact (or sample) location of your data.
