I have this formula =M123/H123 in a cell. When the value in one of those cells is 0 I get #VALUE ! displaying. I need that display to go away. How can I make that disappear?

Thank you

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
To me that would imply what you think is a zero is really the letter O, that is the only way to get the #Value for that formula.

Do those cells you referenced have formulas in them also?

Hi Rodney

I would expect your to get a #div/0 error - a #VALUE ! error is caused by an error in a formula. Either way, if you use this it should solve your issue: =IF(ISERROR(M123/H123),"",M123/H123)

Although I would try to find out what the cause of the value error actually is!

Yes, both cells do. They are fairly long VLOOKUP formulas.

The lookup is probably returning an 'O' as Phil says.

While it might have worked, it doesn't address the fact that your data has letters in it and not numbers, it is up to you want to look in to that, but if it was my data I certainly would want to understand why that is.
