HI Everyone,
Hope you can help with this,
I need a macro (well two one on open one on close) that saves a copy of the document as a back up,
I keep getting people forgetting to save changes or doing strange things so it makes sense to me to just save the document as a back up each it its used, the document is only small so its not going to cause a storage problem.
So I was thinking when the document is opened the macro runs to save a copy as "Back up Document" then put the date and time so it would say "Back up Document 23/04/2018 12:30:08
If we do the date format as Today DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS thiswould be perfect.
and the same when it closes, but still giving them the chance to save changes.
ps the close is not as important if it tricky.
please help as i'm totally stuck
Thanks
Tony
