VBA XCopy not overwriting file

I am trying to append this piece of code so that it automatically overwrites a file. It looks like /Y might need to be added somewhere but I am not sure where exactly and I tried it like this "* /Y" and that didnt work.

what if you change the "*" to " /y"

if that doesn't work, suggest you debug.print the text being used and compare it to what is expected. such as from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...t-you-can-use-with-xcopy-and-xcopy32-commands

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XCOPY describes XCOPY as deprecated and replaced by ROBOCOPY.
I have used ROBOCOPY (in VBA that is at home, don't have sample code with me now).
