Hi Forum - I'm looking at creating a file that can copy text from predefined cells to a 'control' tab, based on a selection of criteria. A simple example would be:
Tab 1 Control: A drop down box where a user can select 'Apples' or 'Pears'.
Tab 2 Apples: Hidden and locked tab with predefined information on apples
Tab 3 Pears: Hidden and locked tab with predefined information on pears
Tab 4 Output: if the user selects Apples in the control tab (and maybe presses a button), the text inputted into tab 2 will copy over to relevant cells. Vice versa if they select pears.
I can create the functionality of the spreadsheet using if formulas to link the output cells through to tabs 2 and 3, although the issue is if a user clicks in the cell it'll show the formula, rather than editable text.
