Formula works but want to add additional cell

Hi my formula
Code: 
=IF(D3 < C3,D3+1,D3)-C3
works which tells me hours worked for a person, but I want to add 1 more cell for time worked into the existing formula. I'm getting errors. Please help. Thanks...

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
