I have two questions and wondered if someone might be able to help me with them.

1) Is there a method whereby when I update a pivot table it pushes the update\change to the original worksheet data?

2) Similarly is there a method whereby when a pivot table element is clicked on and then opens as a new worksheet, any changes made to the new worksheet can be pushed back to the original worksheet in a similar way to question 1?

I know sometimes there are workarounds or Excel add-ins made by a third party that can solve these types of conundrums.

Any help or advise would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Iain.

Can you sort left to right?

Hello and welcome to the board.

I not sure what you mean or what your goal is. The source data used for the Pivot Table should be your raw data and not changed or affected by anything done with the Pivot table. The PT of course just reflects what is in the source data. But if there is something you need to do like you ask, you will need to use code to change your data when you do something with the PT. But I am guessing you will want to do something else.
