Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Might be easier to put:
=A1
in cell B1 and,
=H1011
in cell C500

Hi,

OK, I'm very confused here, so you want a formula where the function would reference a cell, and the result should be the Cell reference?

So, based on your OP, let's just say such a function Exist =getPointCell(A1), you want the result to be A1, so why not just type A1????.....

If there're some Other underlying requirements and/or criterion that you have not explained, please do so.

Cells contain numbers, dates, strings or boolean values (or formulas that return numbers, dates, strings or boolean values).

I'm not sure what you mean by "the direction A1" as different than the string "A1".

Perhaps =CELL("address", A1) will do what you want.
