Good Morning,

I have an excel spreadsheet where I input certain data per week and for each additional week I have to create a new sheet. I was wondering how could I make it where I could have a drop down of the date and then enter my numbers for the week and it save the numbers I enter and I can refer back to them by using the drop down.

Make sense?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Ok, so I copied and pasted what you had into excel and Apr-24 ended up at K15 so I knew that was good. The formula is coming up with 25 and from what I'm reading above it should be 6, right?
So from top left down is how my cells are laid out.

A2 >> dates
A3 >> days
A4 >> daily
A5 >> MPA
A6 >> DTM
A7 >> #

Ok, now I see how it works!
Ok so lets say I want it to list each number from Daily - #. Would I need a different formula for each one?

ALSO is there a way to have the drop down of my dates and when i select the date it auto populates the numbers? What if it's a new date and I haven't manually imputed the numbers yet there?
Sorry I'm brain storming and my brain storming has reached the max of my excel knowledge.

not sure what "list each number from Daily - # " means

ok to have a drop down - it is the same as typing a specific date in

if a new date you will get zeros or an error message
