I'm stumped!

I need to average race times by mile segment by day. We use minutes and seconds. I have each in it's own column. So column A is a date, column B is Mile 1 minutes and column C is mile 1 seconds, etc.

When I try to get avgs I end up with al sorts of stuff, none of which is useful!

I would like to get a running avg and a monthly avg.

Any tips! PLEASE!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

Why not have format column B as [m]:ss and then put in your times in column B only? You can then perform averages on that column. If you need any help on this just let me know.
