Hello,

I have telephony data that is in h:mmLss and when I paste it into excel it is showing time.

For example I paste 0:09:28 and it shows as 12:09:28 AM

I want to be able to chart this as time 9.28

I am not sure how to do this, thanks for your help and time.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Have you tried formatting the column as time?

Try Home->Number->Custom and enter "m.ss" in the Type input field.

@gruntparts.... I think you are confusing how the value appears in the cell (0:09:28), and how it appears in the Formula Bar (12:09:28 AM).

We cannot change how values appear in the Formula Bar. But it shouldn't matter, IMHO.

As for how the value appears in the cell, right-click the cell(s), click Format Cells, Number (tab), Custom, and enter [m].ss into the Type field.

(For charts, format the axis similarly.)

The square-bracketed [m] displays minutes greater than 59 correctly. For example, 12:34:56 is displayed as 754.56.
