Hi there,

I get this horrible inventory sheet from this company. Same inventory sheet every week. It has 5 tabs, but I need to combine it into one tab so I can run my vlookup. Is there a good way using "get and transform" or something else that can combine the worksheets every week?

I only need the following from each sheet:
Sheet 1 - A (Product Code) / G (Qty)
Sheet 2 - A (Product Code) / G (Qty)
Sheet 3 - A (Product Code) / H (Qty)
Sheet 4 - A (Product Code) / G (Qty)
Sheet 5 - A (Product Code) / G (Qty)

Thank you!

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Domroy,

It would help if we could see your actual raw data workbook/worksheets, and, what the results (manually formatted by you) should look like?

You can post your workbook/worksheets to the following free site (sensitive data changed), mark the workbook for sharing, and, provide us with a link to your workbook:

Hi Domroy

If it is a repetitive task, and the format of the 'source' data is the same, it is likely an opportunity to use Power Query (which perhaps you allude to in your use of the phrase "Get & Transform" - this is what Power Query is called in Excel 2016).

Power Query is an add-in for Excel 2010 and 2013 and is native for Excel 2016 ("Get and Transform Data"): https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...cel-2016-881c63c6-37c5-4ca2-b616-59e18d75b4de

There is plenty of documentation available for it - free and paid - and it will likely handle your task very easily.

Cheers
