Saving autofilter selection

I'm trying to save my commonly used autofilter selections so I can easily re-apply the same filter.

I know you can save the custom views, that works fine. However, the file is being recreated every week (with the same filename) but in the "new" file the saved custom view is not retained. Is there a way to do this, maybe with a piece of VBA code? Ideally I would want to link the "saved selection" to a button so it can be easily accessed.
