Index and Match

In trying match the correct stock index to a specific date the formula below that I used does not bring up the right number? Thanks for your help.

The date is in A28 and the index is in H24

=INDEX('[Multiple Stock Quote Downloader.xlsm]Adjusted Close Price'!$A$1:$J$253,MATCH($A28,$A$25:$A$36,0),MATCH(H$24,$H$24:$P$24,0))
