Hi, can anyone help?
I've created a Pivot Chart from my Pivot Table which has columns of :- Description, Invoice Quantity, Invoiced Amount and Net Profit. When I create the Pivot Chart it calculates the Invoice Quantity which is the first value in my Pivot criteria however I want the Chart to use the Net Profit values and not the Quantity but I still want my Pivot Table to be in the original style. Is there a way of getting the Chart to calculate from the third value and not the first?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
In a nutshell, no, not with a pivot chart. Depending on chart type, it will either use all of the data fields, or just the first one.

Well at least it's not just me not being able to work it out. Currently I've added the Net Profit value again in first place then hidden the column in the spreadsheet so at least the Chart reads those values even if it can't be seen. It's messy but it works!
