How do I copy and paste to only visible cells while using a filter?

I should state that I am trying to copy a formula from column C to column A. I do not want the formula copied, just the values.

While in a filter for about 100,000 entries (about 20,000 in the filter itself). I used text to columns to separate names from city/states (they were in the same column separated by a hyphen). All of my hyphenated names also separated. I figured out a filter so I could see all of the once hyphenated names. I inserted another column, selected my range, used go to special visible cells only, made a formula "=concatenate(A2,"-", B2)" , hit ctrl+enter. That worked perfectly. I can't seem to copy and paste correctly in the filter.

I have tried selecting the range, go to special, visible cells only, but when i post (as values, or with formula) to column A, i get an error saying the command cannot be used on multiple sections.

I have also tried copying and pasting as values to a different worksheet then pasting them to column A. It only changes the first row, and the rest are the same. Also, if I try highlighting he range I want to paste to in column A, it gives me an error saying the rectangle is not the right size.

If I do not figure something out, I will have to go through and manually fix thousands of names.

Please Help

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
First convert the whole column C to value only, then copy/paste the filtered data.
