Not sure if this is even the right question in my title so that's why I am asking this and not just searching online for the answer.

Below is a link to my screen shot. It shows two sets of data. Row 65 - 73 shows my list unsorted and 75 - 83 shows my list sorted. There are three repeating codes in my lists of data that I've highlighted in red: CB, CF and CFCB. Is there a way to scan my entire worksheet to get my lists to sort the data so each one of the rows groups these codes?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Get the suffix in a blank column :
=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-SEARCH("-",A1,1))

Then sort by (1)suffix column (2)original data column
