I need to pull data from the web in Excel please

Greetings all,

I'm not an excel expert, know the basics and Im working hard to improve my self . But I need to do a macro or something for a project I am working on, and I am kinda struggling with it. I would really appreciate the help.

I need to create a macro or something that allows user to enter date, then excel will import a log file (txt file) for that date from a web site. And the data will be pasted in one of excel tabs.

Can you help please?
