I tried looking but can't seem the get the right keyword. Is there a way to create a calculated field for a pivot table where the columns are from a single field?

To explain more clearly, I have a pivot table and on the "Columns" portion of the Pivot, there's a field called "STAGES". STAGES contain "BUDGET" and "ACTUAL".

I would need to compute for the delta of BUDGET and ACTUAL. Is there a way to do that using pivots "Calculated Field"?

THanks in advance for your assistance on this.

Best Regards,
PJ

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
You would add a calculated item, not calculated field. Click on Column Labels in the pivot table, then Fields, Items, & Sets.
