Good day!

I'd like some help with a code I'm working on. The goal is to:

  1. Move to first cell of active row
  2. Move one cell to the right
  3. Copy
  4. Move one cell above
  5. Paste

I tried making this code but it's not working it's returning an "Object required" error.

Code:
Sub TestMacro()

    ActiveSheet.Cells(ActiveCell.Row, 1).Select
    ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1).Select.Copy
    ActiveCell.Offset(-1, 0).Select.Paste

End Sub

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Does the code below help?

Code:
Sub TestMacro()
Dim rng As Range, rngCopy As Range
    Set rng = Cells(ActiveCell.Row, 1)
    Set rngCopy = rng.Offset(0, 1)
    rngCopy.Copy Destination:=rngCopy.Offset(-1, 0)
End Sub
