Hi

I applied Data Validation ->List, on cell A1. Now if I click anywhere in th sheet, the drop down arrow of cell A1 will disappear. So it is hard for other user to see I applied List on cell A1. Is there anyway to keep the drop down arrow on cell A1 even if I click anywhere else?
Thank you so much.

Not that i know of .. I think, you should be able to dynamically add a small button that mimics the DV arrow and hide/show it when the cell is selected/unselected via the worksheet selection change event.

This code places Chevrons in the cells next door to Validation cells, might do!!!
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    With Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeAllValidation).Offset(, 1)
        .Value = "<<"
        .Font.Bold = True
    End With
End Sub
