Hello,

I have a column with various employees names. In the column next to that I have a variety of drop down options to choose from (day, night, etc.). What I would like to do is determine the number of options that fall under each person's name. For example, Charles is listed 50 times in column A, of those 50 listings he has 20 options where he is listed as night and 30 where he is listed as day, in column B.

Now I need to do this several times so I'm thinking if I create multiple formulas, each time changing it to return the total amount of options. E.g. 1 formula returns day for Charles, while the other formula returns night for Charles.
