I have a field that is "general" which contains a text field with a value is '00000000 ' (8 zeros with a space following). When I try to add the criteria in a 'sumifs,' statement, it is not summing as expected. The formulas I have tried are: =sumifs(h3:h247,c3:c247,"<1") and =sumifs(h3:247,c3:247,"=00000000 ") and =sumifs(h:h247,c3:c247,"=0").

Thanks in advance.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Try:
Code:
=sumifs(h3:247,c3:247,"00000000 ")
