Hello,
Sr. Citizen now, so will blame it on that.
But this is really driving me batty; would be most appreciative
for any help.
Using the latest Excel on a Mac.
Works well, but the older version were much more intuitive, in my opinion.
I have created a very simple spreadsheet.
Dates in one column, blood p readings in next two columns.
And a Chart for it; simple "Scatter" chart with connecting lines.
If I add a new date and readings, the Chart updates automatically.
Great; this is just what i want. Truly simple stuff.
I created another one for my son.
To the best of my knowledge, absolutely identical.
But, obviously not. Can't imagine what I'm missing, though.
The Chart will not update automatically every time a new date and data are entered.
You have to go into the data table and select the data, again, with the new date and new data to have it re-plot. Then it does.
Have looked at all the settings, options, etc., but cannot find any differences between them, other than this behavior.
What am I, as usual, missing ? There is obviously some difference.
What is the most likely cause, that I should check out ?
Much thanks,
Bob
