Hi there,

I've been searching the internet for a while and I find examples that I cannot use in my situation.
Please let me explain what I am trying to achieve.

Worksheet1 has thousands of dates in row A:A formatted as (date + time): 28-01-2018 18:55:20, and In worksheet2 I want to sum the dates and split them into weekdays from Monday to Sunday.

So Worksheet2 shows:

A1 = Monday
B1 = (should have a formula which does a check on Worksheet1!A:A and count the monday dates)

A2 = Tuesday
B2 = (should have a formula which does a check on Worksheet1!A:A and count the tuesday dates)

etc. etc.

Could anyone here please help me out figure out the formula? Thanks in advance!

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Sorry for the delayed response,

Unfortunately I was unable to get it to work. I get #VALUE ! as a result.

Some of the dates:
