Hi
Excel defines ActiveSheet as following: (using object browser)

property Activesheet as Object
Read only
Member of Excel Application

My question, what does object means here? I thought the correct definition should be

Activesheet as Worksheet

Thank you very much.

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
ActiveSheet is a VBA Constant and is an object. It does not need to be declared as a worksheet because the VBA application already knows that it is. If you are using user defined variables like 'mySheet' to represent a worksheet, then you would need to declare it
Code:
Dim mySheet As Worksheet
Worksheet is an object and is part of the Sheets and Worksheets collections.
