Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

To be honest, IMHO any software is prone to error, what you can really do is to give us the ff:
1.) what is your workflow when doing entries.
2.) what type of data is entered.
3.) what type of file you are using .xlsx, .xls, .xlb, .xlsm and so on....

or you can share your spreadsheet so we can replicate the error you were experiencing.

hello,

i am not able to attached the file....so i am replying here.

1.) what is your workflow when doing entries. -- our work type is like data entry and a single file is used by multiple user in a time.

2.) what type of data is entered. -- not sure about this..... data we entered contain Numbers, alphabet and some special character like $ # @
3.) what type of file you are using .xlsx, .xls, .xlb, .xlsm and so on -- We are using .xlsx file
