Hi Guys, hoping someone can help me with below.
Looking for formula that returns yes in
A5 if yes is entered in any cell range between A1:D1
Return no if not

Unfortunately on Excel 2010 and cant type in custom format

I use 2010 and the below formula works perfectly for me.

[COLOR=#333333]=COUNTIFS(A1:D1,"yes")+0[/COLOR]

If I want to cell to return no if all cells in range say no can that be added?

then use this formula

=IF(COUNTIF(A1:D1,"yes")>0,"yes",IF(COUNTIF(A1:D1,"no")=4,"no",""))

Post #9 has just that. Note that the applying custom format instead of invoking an if formula is a tad faster among other advantages.
