I'm looking for a formula where I can rank all the numbers/values in column A and have them show up in column B.
I can solve this myself using 6 columns to the right and 'IF' statements etc but I wondered if there was a short cut
formula which used perhaps FIND or SEARCH etc which would work. This formula, if it exists, could them be applied
to say 10 rows or 20 or 100. I also know another method which is cumbersome if being applied on a regular basis
which of course is to sort the rows and add in the column B entries which I'm trying to circumvent because it is far
too time consuming when faced with say 1000 sets of numbers.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
