function with if else statement / cell font color

ok so i know this is not the right syntax for if else, but just to make it pretty straight forward,


how would i write this in VB? (the red letters are just to make the example.
=if(A1 ="r", B1 font color =orange, B1 font color = black )


i tried this, please dont laugh ! ha. obviously doesnt work =(


Function NUE(myEntry As String) As String




If myEntry = "r" Then

With Selection.Font
.ThemeColor = xlThemeColorAccent6
.TintAndShade = -0.249977111117893
End With

Else

With Selection.Font
Font.Color = RGB(0, 255, 0)
